BridgeCare named Overall Early Childhood Education Solution of the Year by EdTech Breakthrough

If there’s one thing we’ve learned from diving into and solving the endemic problems of the U.S. child care system, it’s that solutions are only as good as the data on which they're based.

For too long, the child care industry has been plagued by confusion and unreliable data around the number of families who need child care, and the availability of seats for programs in their communities. In a fragmented system where no one entity tracks supply and demand at the federal, state, and local level, it can be challenging for agencies to be confident that what they’re doing is making a meaningful difference for families that need quality, affordable care for their children.

BridgeCare is the only integrated software solution of its kind to partner with state and local governments to improve child care in our country. We’re honored our efforts have been recognized with the prestigious "Overall Early Childhood Education Solution of the Year" award from EdTech Breakthrough, especially after winning the "Childhood Education Innovation of the Year" award last year.

The EdTech Breakthrough Awards program recognizes top companies and solutions in the global educational technology market. This year's EdTech Breakthrough Awards program received over 2,400 nominations from 16 different countries, making BridgeCare's recognition even more significant.

EdTech Breakthrough recognized our integrated solution - powered by real-time data and scientifically-proven algorithmic matching - that radically improves access to equitable, high-quality child care by:

  • Empowering Families: BridgeCare enables families to easily apply for and receive subsidies and other funding sources, find available providers nearby, track their child(ren)'s enrollment, and make payments to providers across various funding sources.

  • Supporting Providers: ECE providers can utilize BridgeCare to manage enrollment, oversee program administration, coordinate referrals, recruit staff, participate in quality improvement initiatives, and access grants for public funding.

  • Assisting Government Agencies: BridgeCare empowers government agencies with access to real-time child care data, and helps them assess eligibility for grants and subsidies, monitor licensing, track payments, process referrals, and manage Pre-K programming, all within one integrated system.

With its highly configurable solutions, BridgeCare can be tailored to meet the specific needs of any state or region, ensuring a customized approach to help build an ECE system that works for everyone.

We’re grateful that our work has earned us the title of Overall Early Childhood Education Solution of the Year, and thank the team at EdTech Breakthrough for the recognition. We’re also excited for the growth ahead and for the opportunity to help make early care and education work in even more communities.
